“At the River’s Bend” was started in the summer of 2008 as the Messenger-Inquirer’s blog about politics and government. Its goal is to bring up-to-the-minute political news and provide an avenue for those bits and pieces from along the campaign trail, in the state Capitol and from City Hall and the County Courthouse that often don’t make their way into the day’s articles.
Keith Lawrence has been a reporter at the Messenger-Inquirer since January 1972. He covers Daviess County government.
Steve Vied has been a reporter at the Messenger-Inquirer since December 1977. He covers Owensboro government.
