Esquire magazine names Halle Berry “sexiest woman alive,” endorses Boswell in KY-2

And now for an endorsement from an unlikely source – Esquire Magazine, a men’s magazine published by the Hearst Corp., has endorsed Democrat David Boswell of Sorgho in Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional District race in its November issue that also proclaims Halle Berry the sexiest woman alive.

In its article “Esquire Endorses America,” the monthly mag takes a look at every race for the U.S. House and Senate and picks the candidate it thinks has the right stuff.

Two years ago, the magazine picked incumbent Republican Ron Lewis over Democrat Mike Weaver in the Kentucky 2nd, but this year is going with the Democrat over Republican Brett Guthrie of Bowling Green.

Here’s the magazine’s take –

Incumbent Ron Lewis, our 2006 pick, is retiring. Two state senators are facing off to replace him. One declaims the standard GOP talking points of the past eight years. The other has the endorsement of three former governors. Esquire endorses: Boswell.

Esquire also picked Democrat Bruce Lunsford over Republican Mitch McConnell in the U.S. Senate race, and went with the incumbent in the state’s other five congressional districts.
